Downloads are most useful when analysts know what the file contains, why it is relevant, and where it is authorized to go next.
At a glance
- Context-aware file selection
- Clearer export boundaries
- Controlled downstream workflows
Browse before you export
FireIntel is designed to let authorized users review supported risk lists and fusion files from the same workspace used for investigation. Descriptive context helps the user select the appropriate intelligence rather than downloading an unexplained artifact.
Available download formats and collections depend on the intelligence source, deployment scope, and user authorization. A download should remain traceable to its purpose and downstream handling requirements.
- Review the intelligence collection and context first.
- Download supported files within the user’s authorized scope.
- Keep sensitive evidence separate from general intelligence exports.
Separate intelligence sharing from raw-log access
Risk lists, fusion files, reports, and investigation evidence serve different purposes from a complete source log. FireIntel keeps those actions distinct so a broad full-log download control does not appear on unrelated records.
Full-log ZIP download is presented only for qualifying leak and stealer-log records. That interface decision makes the sensitivity of the action explicit at the point where it is relevant.
Plan for responsible downstream use
Before moving external intelligence into another system, teams should define retention, access, redistribution, and false-positive handling. Those decisions depend on the source terms, organizational policy, and the sensitivity of the data.
FireIntel provides a connected place to understand the evidence before export; it does not remove the need for governance in downstream security tools and processes.
